Tervitan Sind mõnusast õhukonditsioneeriga bussist kell 4:24 öösel! Aknast välja vaadates näib, et oleme jõudnud Lätti ja õhutemperatuur on 18 kraadi.
Mõne tunni pärast algab meie seiklus Lätis, kas Sa suudad seda uskuda?!?? Mina küll ei suuda.. alles ma mõtlesin, et tahaks kunagi misjonireisile minna (aastaid tagasi tegelt), kuid ma ei julgenud teha mitte ühtegi sammu selleks. Ja kas ma mitte alles paar päeva tagasi ei jaganud paljudega oma tunnistust, kuidas Jumal kõnetas mind Talvepäevadel ülistuse kaudu? Ei, Silja, see oli 6 kuud tagasi veebruarikuus. Oeh, aeg lendab linnutiivul.
Mõni ehk mõtleb, et mis tunnistus ja Talvepäevad ja kes see Silja veel on. Vabandust, läksin nii hoogu, et unustasin end tutvustada. Mina olen Silja, 23aastane, kingasuurus 42, telefoninumber 566… Miks ma seda veel kirjutan.. Igatahes. Olen tavaline Eesti neiu, kes on ühe aasta Southwestern Advantage kaudu raamatuid Usas müünud ja kellel oli plaanis seda veel 5 aastat teha. Lisaks töötan Diakooniahaiglas tegevusterapeudi abina ehk siis tegelen eakatega ning ma armastan oma tööd. Olen ka tudeng – nimelt õpin ma sotsiaaltööd. Käin samuti 3D kogukonnas ja mulle täitsa meeldib selline elu. Ühel päeval aga, nimelt 2. veebruaril 2018 (kui ma ei eksi), umbes kella 20 paiku, kui käimas olid Talvepäevad Põltsamaal ja ülistust oli tegemas 3D bänd, kõik see muutus. Täiesti ootamatult kõnetas Jumal mind ja andis teada, et ma olen liialt püüdnud elada oma plaanide järgi, aga et Tal on minu jaoks palju parem plaan. Sel hetkel teadsin, et pean minema misjonireisile. Aga.. aga.. ma lähen ju Usasse, olen selle nimel juba vaeva näinud.. ja tean mida järgmised 5 aastat edasi õppida.. ning mu töökoht, ma ei saa sellest loobuda.. Just sellised olid minu esimesed mõtted. Paari päevaga aga harjusin nendega ja võtsin vastu otsuse, et ma ei tea, mida täpselt ma teen ja kuhu lähen, aga kuhugi ma lähen ja loobun senistest plaanidest. Ja siin ma olen, Ecolines bussis, suunaga Riga, 6 kuud hiljem. Ma pole päris kindel, mida me seal teeme ja kuidas kõik olema hakkab, aga see polegi oluline, vaid oluline on see, et ma tean, et Jumalal on minu jaoks parim plaan ja ma olen väga põnevil sellest, mis 5 kuuga saama hakkab!
(Remark: Lähen Baltics Discipleship Training School’i: esimene kuu Lätis, teine Eestis ja kolmas Leedus ning 2 kuud kuskil tundmatus kohas. 3 kuud on õpe ja 2 kuud misjonireis. Korraldajaks YWAM – Youth With a Mission.)
Selle aja jooksul püüan vähemalt kord nädalas teha siia postitust või kui juhtub midagi ääretult põnevat, mida peab kohe jagama, siis mõnikord tihedamini. Oleneb ka, kuidas siin internetiga lood on, aga eks ma annan teada.

I’m welcoming you from a lovely bus with a very nice air conditioner. The time is 4:24 and the bus is taking me to Riga. When I look out from the window, it seems like we are already in Latvia and the bus has information that it’s 18 degrees (celsius) outside.
In few hours our adventure in Latvia starts, can you believe that?!?? Well.. for me.. I almost cannot. It wasn’t not long time ago (actually many years ago) when I was thinking about going to a missiontrip but I never had courage to make further steps to make it happen. And wasn’t it few days ago when I shared my testimony for the first time with others how God had told me to give up on my plans and follow His plan? No, Silja, it was 6 months ago in February. Well.. time flies so fast.
There may be someone who may be wondering what plan, testimony and who is that girl called Silja. My sincere apologies for that, I got too excited and forgot to introduce myself. Well, my name is Silja, I am 23 years old, my shoe size is 42, my phone number is 566… wait a minute. Why am I writing this information? Sorry again. Anyways. I’m just an ordinary young woman from Estonia who has been selling books with Southwestern Advantage for one year and had a plan to do it for the next 5 years. Also, I work as a occupational therapist assistant in a hospital for elderly people and I love my job a lot. Besides that I study social work and go to my community group at 3D (church) and I thought my life was pretty good. Until one day, 2nd of February 2018 around 8pm when I was at an event called Talvepäevad (winterdays) and when during the worship God spoke to me. He told me that I have tried so much to make my own plans but He has much better plan for me. At this moment I knew I had to go to a missiontrip. But.. but.. I’m going to Usa to sell books and I have my job and studies.. I can’t give up on those.. those were my first thoughts. After few days I got used to these thoughts and I made a decision that I’m going to a missiontrip. I didn’t know where or when or what i’m going to do exactly but I knew I will still go and give up my plans and God will be with me. And here I am, in Ecolines’ bus, 6 months later, heading to Riga. I’m not sure how it’s going to be or what we will do but it doesn’t matter. All I need to know is that God is next to me and carrying me if needed. And I know that He has best plans for me and I’m very excited about it!
(Small remark: I’m going to be part of Baltics Discipleship Training School. First month we are in Latvia, second month in Estonia, third in Lithuania and other 2 months – I don’t know. First 3 months is studying period and 2 months missiontrip. Organizer is YWAM – Youth With a Mission.)
I try to keep you updated at least once a week. If something super exciting happens which I need to write at the exact moment then I will have more posts. It also depends how it is with the Internet in there. I will let you know
