Viimased nädalad õppeperioodist!

DTSi õppeperiood on läbi. Lihtsalt wow. Ülimalt palju on õpitud ja kogetud. Eelviimase nädala olime Klaipedas ja siis tagasi Valdemarpilsis.

Klaipedas rääkis meile Joseph, kuidas meil ei ole kunagi põhjust muretseda erinevate asjade ja olukordade pärast, kuna meil on hea Isa, kes hoolitseb meie eest ja tagab meile kõik, mida vajame. Kui me hakkame muretsema, siis sisuliselt usume me saatana valesid, et Jumalale pole kõik võimalik.

Keskendusime ka palju orvu vaimsusele (spirit of an orphan) ja tütreks/pojaks olemise vaimsusele (spirit of a son/daughter). Orvu mõtteviisiga kristlased näevad Jumalat kui tööandjat, kellele on oluline, et tehtaks palju kirikutööd, mida rohkem seda uhkem, ja kelle jaoks Jumal on pettunud, kui me ei tee seda, mida Ta on tahtnud, et me teeks. Võrreldakse end teistega, mõeldes, et kui oled nii ülistusbändis, juhid noortetööd, abistad lastetöös, teed süüa jne, siis oled püham ja Jumalale meelepärasem kui need, kes ei tee nii palju. Sellise vaimsusega inimesed näevad kaaskristlasi kui kaastöötajaid või kaasvõistlejaid. Kristlased, kes teavad aga, et nad on tütred/pojad, näevad Jumalat kui oma Isa, oma kallist Isa, kes tahab neile parimat. Nad teavad, et Isa igatsus on olla lähedases suhtes oma lastega, Tema jaoks ei ole olulisim see, kui palju sa teed, vaid kui lähedane sa Temaga oled. Teised kristlased on kõik su õed ja vennad, kes üksteist julgustavad ja rõõmustavad koos, kui kellelgi läheb hästi.

Siinkohal ei püüa ma väita, et kirikuga seonduv töö on halb, hoopis vastupidi! See on väga hea! Küsimus on pigem selles, missuguse mõttelaadiga kõike tehakse.

Viimase nädala olime Valdemarpilsis kuulamas Jani rääkimas juhtimisest. Ta rõhutas kui oluline on teenida teisi südamega ja julgustada teisi nende kutsumuses ja uskuda neisse. Jani oli väga hea kuulata, kuna oli kohe näha, kui südamest ta kõike jagab, mis talle on oluline.

Nädala keskel liitusid meiega Tove ja mõned soomlased, kellega koos panime paika visioonid Eesti jaoks. Kui küsiti, mida te märkasite, kui Eestis olite, siis põlise eestlasena tulid mulle esmalt meelde alkoholiprobleemid, katkised inimesed jne, kuid mis oli minu jaoks üllatav, oli see, kuidas kõik muust rahvusest inimesed tõid välja väga palju head. See pani mind mõtlema, kui negatiivselt ma kohati Eestit näen ja kui palju positiivset siin on. Kuidas me oleme töökad, teeme asju keskendunult parima tulemuse nimel, oleme siirad, kartmatud, kui teame Jumala eesmärki oma elu jaoks, ja kui palju potentsiaalseid juhte meil on. Saime inspireeritud, mis võimalused ja vajadused on Eestis tulevikuks, palvetasime koos ja ülistasime. Loomulikult ei puudunud igaühe julgustamine.

Järgmises postituses oleme juba Rootsis misjonireisil! Kaks nädalat on tegelikult juba möödas ja mul on nii mitmeid põnevaid lugusid teiega jagada!!

DTS’s lecture phase. Just wow. What an adventure. The week before the last week we were in Klaipeda and then we had our last lecture week in Valdemarpils.

In Klaipeda Joseph told us not to worry about anything because we have our good Father who takes care of us and provides us everything we need. When we start believing satan’s lies then we don’t believe that everything is possible to God.

We also focused a lot on spirit of an orphan and spirit of a son/daughter. Those who have spirit of an orphan, they see God as employer for who it is important to do a lot of work in church – the more the better – and for who God is disappointed when we don’t do what He has told us to do. You are comparing yourself with others, thinking that you are more holy and God is more pleased with you if you are in worship band, lead youth work, help with kids, cook etc. Other christians are coworkers for you or even co-competitors. On the other hand, christians who know that they are sons/daughters, see God as their Father, their dear Father who wants the best for them. They know that Father’s desire is to be in a close relationship with His children. For Him the most important is not how many things you do but how close you are to Him. Other christians are your sisters and brothers who encourage each other and are with you in good and bad times, laughing and crying with you. They lift you up, they are happy to see when you are doing good and they love when you get better at something.

I’m not trying to say that work in the church is bad, of course it’s good and essential! It’s all about in which spirit are you doing everything you do.

Last week we spent again in Valdemarpils and talked about apostolic leadership. Jan talked about serving others with full heart and encourageing others with their calling. He also shared how important it is to keep believing in people and not giving up on them too easily. It was a great teaching because you could see how much he spoke from his heart about things that are important.

In the middle of the week Tove and some finnish leaders joined us. Together we put down visions for Estonia. If they asked what did we notice when we were in Estonia then for me as an estonian, first came to my mind all the bad things like alchoholism, broken people etc. But suprisingly for me, nobody mentioned the things I had in my mind. They mentioned how we are so hard working, focused on the best results, sincere, fearless when we know God’s purpose for our life and how many potential leaders we have. We got inspired what are the opportunities and needs for Estonia’s future, prayed, declared and worshipped together. And of course encouraged, prophecied to each person.

In the next post we are in Sweden and I get to share all the awesome stories that had already happened! It’s going to be exciting!
